How are these DVD's, I see they are onsale at a Canadian retailer for $30.00 for 25 DVD's I believe. Any good, who are they made by? I have never made the step to DL, always used DVD5's.

If you are talking about the Philips media on sale @ FS, they are more then likely CMC MAG as Chewy mentioned.

I have never found any "made in singapore malaysia" in my travels, but check your area you might luck out!

I have never found any of the good stuff at FS, only sweet spot used to be Wally World and Sony MIJ, but those days are long gone.

from what I have read the verbatim dual layer disks from singapore use a unique manufacturing process, but I have also read they are getting ready to outsource production to Tawain, wonder if these 8x cmcmag's are the forerunners for that?

we know they make the better verbatim single layer already

BTBO, (bit the big one) & SBT, (sucked big time). Mainly because I couldn't find any MIJ.
