Ritek, Kyhpermedia, Imation, Memorex (gaining momentum), Dynex, ILO, Princo, Datawrite, etc....the best rule of thumb would be to stick with the media that is listed as excellent in this thread.

to Locoeng-
hi you've written Memorex (gaining momentum), because my english is not the best does that mean that media is not good, too?
I'm asking because I bought some here in greece yesterday and testing with dvd identifier says (from a manufacturer and media-list) that it is 3rd class media. Is it really that bad cause burning a movie yesterday seemed to be not worse than my good sony or verbatim DVD+R media.I'm asking because the memorex DVD-R I have are printable with ink-printers.
Thanks for helping out-

I never really researched any Memorex and knew that they outsourced...but had no idea they outsourced that much. I counted 11 MID's from 6 different manufacturers.

Taiyo Yuden 8x DVD-R Shiny/Silver VALUE LINE for 0.27c CDN each. No MID for verification.
Anyone buy these at BLANKDVDMEDIA or know about the Value Line TY? Chewy?
Also, I drooled when I saw these 8x DVD+R Taiyo Yuden (MID YUDEN000T02) at blankmedia.ca, but it's not cheap. 1 spindle of 100pcs. $54.95 CDN.

Thanks for the info Chewy, I was mostly curious of the MID.
That link you provided is exactly the site and media I bought a few months ago. Great media! Worked out to .37each ship incl. in 2 business days.
You had something to do with that purchase if I recall correctly.
