this is similar to the one they had last month.I would jump on it but a have more then enough for now,I haven't even opened the paper sleeves yet.Thanks for the heads up though

the paper sleeves are for cd's and grade c dvd's that you loan out or for data backup
if someone would just market a small plastic case(box) that would hold 200 of them I would be very interested

I was just wondering Chewy, I am presently storing my dvds in the wallet type cases. You know the ones with the plastic sleeves. I think one holds about 500 and the other two hold 256 each. Is this not a good way to store them? Does this damage them in any way? I tried the slim jewel cases, but they just take up too much space.Comment

Be very careful inserting them and removing them, they can scratch upComment

And do not overfill them as the outside case can warp the edge of the discs.
I store mine on edge and are stored in a vertical position away from speakers (magnets).
But I have started switching to this system of aluminum cases with sleeves.

gary's storage is the ultimate back up solution, I had already invested in wallets first or I would have gone that route.

Have you started using those cases, I thought about switching to these as well. Assume the edges/corners are aluminum and the sides are hard plastic.
They were more costly when they first arrived 50 is not bad for 600.
I started with the 3-ring binder wallets, long time ago. It was cost effective at the ..... I would have started with these as well !!!!

Anyone know of a box store sale in the US on sony 1x-8x dvd+r's, 50 pack? I found a stash of em at a Sears near me, but they are $26 for 50. I want to find an add, even if its for 1x-16x....I know I can get that past em for a price match. They have 10/50 pack spindles and 4/25 pack spindles. But if I can't find a sale add, I'll just order em online. Thanks in advanceComment

You know I have used these several times. Usually Black Friday and a couple times a year they are on sale for next to nothing. I paid $3.96 for 60. I'm sure they aren't the best but out of the 240+ I've used I've probably had less then 10 bad discs. For the $, not bad. I still use my Verbatims most of the time but on discs I know are going to get abused anyway I use the Playos, then I don't feel so bad about redoing them!now here's a good one for all you gambler and rebate bargain basement deal shoppers?
