Cannot burn dvd-r with Nero 7

Hi, new member here -- hope you can help.

I'm using Nero 7 with a TDK DVDRW0404N 1.05 (ATA) and it keeps rejecting DVD-R discs no matter what brand.

It looks like your burner does not like the DVD's.

It looks like you may need to update your Firmware.

Look close at updating the Firmware. Step 2

In my VB.net 2005 application I am using Nero.com object to burn dvds.

It worked perfectly till yesterday (it burned about 20 dvds) but now it can't burn!!
Nothing has changed (no new program installed and configuration is the same as yesterday).

The error seems to be "Invalid field in command".

Hey everyone. I'm having a similar problem with the original poster. Very strange because it seems this only happens when using TDK DVD-R (only tried burning DVDs with 2 types so far, TDK & Memorex, the latter works perfectly).

Hi,
I am having a similar problems.I used Imation DVR-R/+R before, both works fine without any problem. But when I bought this new set of DVD, I kept getting error like "illegal disc. cannot start disc-at-once".
Tried with other type of DVD to burn data, works fine. Only this new set of DVD-R that I have problems with.
Can anyone help me?
