    DVD Skips?

I am trying to back up some of my DVDs, I use RipIt4Me. It does the whole process fine and no errors pop up, but when I go to watch the backed up DVDs there are parts that freeze for a split second. Most DVDs only do this once maybe twice for like I said a split second. But I backed up Borat yesterday and the last twenty minutes of the movie kept freezing every two minutes for like 5-10 seconds. I burn with nero. Is it a program error or is it something I am doing? Is there something I can do to prevent this?

Sorry about the other one, I didn't know what type of problem it was, so I didn't know where to post it.

that's ok, we don't expect people to know where it all belongs, I have a hard time figuring that out myself, it's obvious from the log tho this is a burning problem

poor blanks and burning too fast

slow the burn speed down to 8x, lower the target size in shrink to 4300 with those blanks and you should get some use out of the rest, but use Taiyo yuden or verbatims next time

expect some failures with those cmc mags

I had more luck with the +R ones myself

I tried to chang my burn speed and it only gives me 16x and 4x there isn't a 8x option. Should I use 4x?

when you hit the backup button with shrink there should be an option to set the burnspeed then if you are doing it auto, but I would suggest manual for the time being

nero info tool and insert a disk(blank) will verify the allowable burn speeds
