Burning Movies-Help

I have DVD decrypter and apollo ripping program. I recently encountered a problem of the movie being to big to fit on a standard 4.7 GB. I looked for a double layer -R but have only found double layer +R, My programs arent compatible with +R. Can anyone help me how to get my movies on one disc or where do I find double layer -R disc. Thanks in advance
