Better still, burn ISO images with DVD Decrypter or ImgBurn and avoid Nero altogether. From DVD Shrink: Backup → Select backup target → ISO image file and burn with DVD Decrypter
i used above instruction also in burning my slideshow and video at my HD.
It works in my laps, but in DVD player theres error "The disc can be neither played or recorded"
could be your player and media compatibility as well, some players dont like -r some dont like +r, personally i bitsett +r to dvd-rom, that aloows compatibility with all of my players, but not all burners can bitsett.
I definately agree with vaimon, imgburn is the way to burn!

i have sony DVD player and theres a note in my DVD that can play DVD+R.
do you think my maxell DVD is not compatible with my standalone SONY DVD player?
also i have Ripit4Me, DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter and NERO 7.
my toshiba player says it plays everything, but it doesnt, lol....
the maxell media may be a problem, try a disk quality scan with nero cd/dvd speed
you dont need imgburn, but in my opinion it is far better than nero
you can try this link to check media compatibility with your player

try a disk quality scan on one of the burns that played and one that didnt, would be interesting to see the quality of your burner iwth this media.....verbatims are much much better media, in my opinion
if you want help from the big guns, I'd do as they suggest, post a burn log
