I have A panasonic dvd-vcr recorder I'M currently trasfering my tapes to dvd some I can do and others ,A message comes on the screen that says copy protected can not record I know this is because of some chip inside ,I know that the movies can be recorded because it records just a fraction of the movie before it stops. then the mesage pops up ,can this chip be deactivated or removed?

Since registering since 2005 and posting 20 posts, you should know better by now to post in the correct forum. Your situation of wanting to defeat the macrovision protection on your DVD Recorder when copying copyrighted tapes has nothing to do with DVD Shrink.
