Dual Layer dvd onto Single Layer dvd

I am wanting to Back Up one of my DVD's, but i havent got a Dual Layer Writable drive, is there a way of doing a Backup onto 2 ordinary blank dvd's, i was hoping to retain the full original quallity so i didnt really want/need shrinking to be an option.

Sure, use VobBlanker to split the DVD (keeps menu on both DVDs). Guide on site.
