I spent the $80 on Nero 7 and I'm very dissatisfied. I'm not an experienced burner, so its probably me, but I haven't been able to get a response from Nero's support center or find answers on the Internet.
I've wasted close to 20 DVD trying to burn media from my computer onto DVDs and I'm not sure if its my computer, the software, or the DVDs I'm using. I've used Memorex DVD-R & DVD+R and Sony DVD+R's. None have burned correctly.
I originally tried to burn directly to the disc using Nero Vision 4. After continuously spending 4 hours at a time trying to burn, all those discs ended up in the trash. After getting the disc burned successfully messages, my computer is unable to detect the DVDs as well as the DVD player. Its as though burning my DVDs had a reverse format effect. The devices can't even tell that there is a DVD anymore.
I also tried burning to the hard drive and then using Nero Express only to get the same exact results. I then tried to use Sonic to burn and it was successful, but the DVD only played once and then it broke down.
I'm tired of throwing away all of my DVDs and I have no clue what the problem is, but any advice that can be given would be greatly appreciated.
