    Verbatim 4x DVD-R Dual Layer

Is there a way to get these in bulk (like a 25 or 50 pack)? If not, what's good dual layer media that can be purchased in bulk? Thanks!

The most I've seen them in is a 20 pack spindle...

    Here are some 6X ones.

Make sure that they are made in Singapore! Make sure they have a pink/purple tinge to them.

The ones at Sam's Club in the US have quality control issues. They are made in India.

Here is a thread at CDF about them: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread....t=Sam%27s+Club

I will always recommend Verbatims DL over all others but make sure they are made in Singapore!

EDIT: Why would you want minus DVDs when you can bitset the plus DVDs to DVD_ROMs???

The "minus" was a mistake! If I order online, how do I know where they're made?

Does the MKM001 say I'm safe?

I can confirm that the 2.4X +R printables are MKM MIS....as for the rest you will just have to look for someone who has bought from them and can confirm the origin and MID.

Could maybe try asking them if they have some kind of contact.

              Product Code: DV-004-2296
              Manufacturer: Verbatim
              Media Code: MKM001
              Mfr part #: 95310
              Product Ratings:
They have the same MID as the my Singapore made discs....I don't know if the ones made in India would have the same MID.

I stuck one in my Pioneer burner & it supports up to 8x burning on these.

I haven't burned any yet, I just want to get other people's opinion about MII MKM001 media first, not MCC004, I've read enough to know that some rate them as good, while others horrible.

don't shout Gary, we can hear you

the MII dl verbs have only started showing up in the 50 packs

and even if they have some issues they are probably better than any other brand you will get

Just got a 20 pack from Best Buy - I'll see that they're the right color.

Why the need for DL's anyway?
