Here is a major part of your problem.

    Physical memory : 446MB (457192kB)
    Free physical memory: 49MB (50392kB)
    Memory in use : 88 %

You might also want to check out The Golden Rules

    Release Date: 2006-01-20 Version: 1I24
That firmware is pretty old, maybe Chewy or somebody might come up with some advice. You might also want to take a look at ImgBurn for your burning needs.

If you are trying to burn a CD I suggest that you use CDBurner XP pro3 and for complete disc (either CD or DVD) use ImgBurn as soup suggested.

If you are in a position to get a paid software I suggest that you use Cyberlink Power2Go. Nero is not a very trusty piece and it is surely a resource hog.

I would like to see a try with Imgburn, that aspi and pxhelp might be hosing nero?

Of course the dvd burner might be bad, those ricoh 03's had a lot of bad batches also

imgburn should be using the spti interface not adaptec scuzzi aspi(it sucks)

            you need to change imgburn

run killaspi and use the filter tool in imgburn to kill off any roxio crap
