    Nero Burning Fail - Help?!!!

Hi, I'm experiencing problems with burning using Nero. Previously everything was working fine, but in the last couple of days it's all started to go wrong! Can anyone point out any issues from my attached log file? Much appreciated!!!

    welcome to the forum

well there are a couple of obvious problems, burn speed and nero version,
but I also wonder about the upgrade on your computer, looks like you added a 300 gig hard drive and a new dvd burner?

Did you upgrade your power supply also?

Hi Chewy, thanks for the welcome and reply. I've updated the nero version and also slowed the burn speed down. I've successfully completed a burn, so that's good news!

I'm intrigued as to why it would suddenly stop working though. The Hard drive and DVD burner upgrades I made were about 6 months ago, I didn't, I must confess, upgrade the power supply, but would this cause a previously working burn to stop working 6 months after the event?

Not to worry, seems to be working now, so thanks for the help!

well you made it over 5 minutes into a 16x burn on good media, my logic is
your burner with an older anemic power supply may be dropping the ball when
the burn speed gets close to 16X and needs more power

        just an educated guess

something else may have kicked in and pulled the voltage rail down

power supplies usually get weaker with age, especially after increasing their load with upgrades
