I never had great burns with the sony made intawain disks but they always burned and played

in a bad batch expect some failures mixed in with fair burns

With a decent computer the iso versus set of files shouldn't matter

I just reburn and keep on

thnx. so what's best to find out b4 you throw it in the player? verify? 4got to mention 1 of the bad 1's was a maxell dvd-r. want to cover all the bases. it was my first bad burn w/the maxell out of a hundred batch.

gotta watch my ocd. obsessive computer disorder. how important is it really if i got a bad batch out of 15 or so cake boxes.

btw was told that isos, and file format didn't make too much difference in quality, and disk space on the hd. is that so? think it was once on this forum, and not so long ago on another. was wondering cause of gonwk's suggestion to make iso, and then burn w/imgburn.

p.s. isn't mostly much of blank media, even the ty's, and verbatim made cheaply now? ie; taiwan, india, etc... hard to find the quality stuff from the quality places anymore.
