I am Clear Spraying Gloss Patrica Nimocks Clear Acrylic Sealer on printed Cd's just as I always have, but I have run into a problem.
I am now getting a dull finish on the disk, & also a "fisheye" finish. I know that comes from a contaminated surface, but...
These are brand new (value wrapped) TY hub printables. I guess it is possible the could be contaminated from the factory. If so, I don't really know how I would go about cleaning the surface prior to printing/painting.
I am doing everything as before when I had success with this; warm room, no humidity, same spray technique. The only variable that is different is a different type of disc than I normally use. (The hub printable valuewrap TY's)
Any ideas/suggestions/solutions? This is really putting a damper on some Christmas audio projects I am working on...Looking for a quick solution!
Thanks, katz
