Ya I went to Officemax on Monday and there DL were sold out,so I wanted a raincheck at that price and the guy said come back Weds so i did and I got 2 20/spindles but,they are in purple platic made in singapore.Just a new wrapper? I hope.I also got 2 100/pk DVD-R and 1 DVD+R all in the old packaging but,I got the last +R in old wrapper and I assume that is what you meant TRAN?? because I wanted 1 more but,was also skeptical.Any 1 used the new wrap? Does that mean I should update all firmware?

DL made in Singapore are good, SL new wrapper is darker, I never use new wrapper but DR Chew said take the old one so I did

Some had good experiences with the new neon verb single layer, most including soup and I have not been that impressed

Grade A premium media is getting harder and harder to find, I am using some Maxell 16x dvd+r's and saving my better verbs for long life archiving. Even the new verbs are better slightly than the maxells. When you only pay 25-30 cents a disk you can't be too particular.

that is why we stock them, I have alot of TY stock + and - which I burn for myself and family only, I use verb and other chesy stubs for friends and neighbor

I have 4 and 1/2 50/spindle of the Sony 8x DVD+R with the hexagon but,I got them all at Sears in a months time and they haven't gotten any since.How about those cake packs Taiyo they still good?Unrelated to the media but,before I couldn't do anything when burning since you are familiar with my new pc Chewy can I do other things while burning now or doesn't the Quad help me with that?

you mean the R- that you buy from supper media ( I mean TY 02 only not 03) ? they are A- to A+ depend on the pack, I still had about 600-700 stil in the cake, wait 5 years and they are gold

the sony 8x R+ hex top are gold as always unless some one still have TY 01 they would be consider diamond in my book but I never have them just dream about it
