    Nero fails at lead out??

The other day I burned the same thing, same program with the same set of DVD-Rs. I am now using a -RW (went through 25 -Rs). Everytime I burn with Nero (using StartSmart and DVD-Video), it fails at the lead out...recent log is below...

    welcome to the forum

I wish I could give you some good news but laptop dvd burners don't hold up well, especially ones like yours, many don't ever get them to work right.

Your blanks are hard to burn with a good regular dvd burner.

Get a good external burner and some decent media

So there's NOTHING I can do to make it work? Being a college student who's already in debt, I don't have the money to get an external burner and this is for a college project.

that log was for 16x dvd-r not rw as you stated

you might look back at the mid code of the blanks that worked and enlighten us?

your burner's firmware looks like a first edition but with so few of clues I can only guess at the problem

nero can be buggy and your computer may be in need of some optimization

but as I said originally we can't isolate anything when you are using a bad burner and a bad mid code

this type of work requires everything being right, not the other way around
