        In my opinion those disks

Linkyo Taiyo Yuden Silver Thermal Lacquer 16X DVD-R Media 100 Pack in Retail Box (Free Ground Shipping)

burned at 8x should meet or exceed any other TY disks except the yuden T02

you will need a newer burner and good firmware

That's Toby. He's a 'he' (at least he was before we subjected him to "the unkindest cut of all") that we found at 5 months old (he's 13 years old now) wandering the streets. Our vet tells us he's an Italian Volpino. Look up "volpino" on Youtube and you'll see a ton of them - most all of them in Italy. He really is the sweetest, most intelligent dog I've ever had...

tyg03 is not a id for older burners and firmware, TY had a lot of problems early also

there plextor premium branded 16x dvd-r's were awful but that straightened out in a few months, long ago and far away

that's brand which is distributed in the orient is almost always the best you can get

The JVC DVD disks are $9.99 for a spindle of 50 disks at Ecost. That would make the disks about .19 each.

JVC was recommended by my toshiba dvr along w/verbatims and maxell. never used them though. i started out w/maxell. $9.99 why not try them out? won't make you or break you. I had my time w/hp's. never again.

Yeh why not. throw them in imgburn. get the mid and check it w/the chart in blu's sig. Some cmc actually make decent blanks. so if it's them only burning and time will tell. most likely not for your personal collection unless they prove worthy of some material. I use certain brands for myself, IE. Ty's and other brands for side work.

I went thru 600 of the non-printable value line, last batch came with hardly any popcorn, one package broken and white dust all over the disks

For me that broke me of the shrink wrap

I just wait for spindeled to go on sale

Officemax has verbs back on sale @20 cents they are hard to beat

Thnx. Are the verbs the old packaging? You mentioned earlier about staying away from the newer neon packaging. What color is the old packaging? I keep seeing some orange and some other color but not sure if that's the neon packaging. Hard to tell online. Thnx.

Are these purple ones the one you suggested to snatch earlier? >http://officemax.shoplocal.com/offic...06740&offerid= The orange are dvd-r. the purple dvd+r. Never used dvd+r. Pretty compatible nowadays w/stand alones. Was advised a while back at staples that some stand alones might have problems w/+r's. Then again can bitset them.
