Which is better?

Hi NT ... how goes it buddy ... I was just being goofy and kidding you.

NT ... look at my Scan date ... "2006" ... I used to do one every other 20 or 30 when I was "new" to this game just to be testing my burns ...

But now I can turn around the DVD and look at my copy and tell if I have a bad one or a "Suuspicious" one.

@ Soup ... now where in the world do you find a "Hyundai" brand blanks ... for a minute I thought you were talking about the Car.

Soup ... I have seen mix reviews on this Spindle ... it seems to be a "picky" media and responds differently to different Burners. So, as you have guessed or suspected it might not be a "TRUE" TY blank.

Boy am I glad I bought my TY batch few months back ... I am still OK in my inventory for awhile.

Please if anyone happen to buy TYs from SuperMediaStore recently or in the near future. Please scan a few and report back. I'm wondering if my problem is just on their printable media.

SMS doesn't seem to sell printables in the 50 pack spindles, only the regular shiny silver ones.


Here something odd, I have two of the same exact Liteon burners, one will always give me better burns and scans than the other. I guess it's luck of the draw on what you get.

SMS ads drive me crazy lately ... telling me they have dropped their prices same as dow jones (stock market) ...

They LIE ... same price as always. And why would they bundle DVD Blanks with Paper Sleeves ... I don't need anymore paper feaking sleeves ... just DVD blanks at a Good Price ... like they used to have.

Yeah I know what you mean. To get them at the price they say you have to buy the 600 pack. If you buy the 200 or 100 packs there the same price as always.

Not burned, eyes wide open. You just roll the dice, sometimes you get lucky & sometimes you don't, no biggie.

iPaulo ... I have to agree with Soup on the "Luck of the Draw" EVEN for our Beloved "TYs" ... I have them scan with QSuite and one batch is SUPER SUPER GREAT and some other batches are just FINE Great but not SUPER!
