burned dvds wont work in dvd players but work in pc.???

everyone, i have a HL-TD-ST DVDRAM GMA4082N ATA DEVICE. my firmware version is 6.0.6000.16386. I made some dvd files using nero 8 and then compressed it using dvdshrink. it works fine in my pc but doesnt work in my dvd player or ps2. and the blank dvd im using is ritek dvd-r 8X. how do i make the dvd work in my dvd player?

Same Issue almost

Back up movies made via Shrink play fine on computor but when played on DVD player the film begins several minutes after the beginning of the film. It then jumps from chapter to chapter in a random order.

Have deleted and reloaded Shrink several times and upgraded Nero also. Note in the past Shrink worked like a charm but it's totally screwed at this point.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
