    Disk size problem

This may seem like an obvious question, but i'm new to all of this stuff.

I have a 4.3gb ISO File and a 4.6gb ISO file, when trying to burn either of these to a 4.7gb DVD on Roxio Creator I get the same message that the project size is over by 476kb.

As one is 4.3 and the other is 4.6 and they both show as being exactly 476kb over then I am assuming it is not to do with the project size.

How can I sort this problem as a 4.3gb file should fit on a 4.7gb disk?

Is it something Roxio is doing or do I need to go out and buy bigger disks for example DL disks?

The first thing I'd recommend is to use burning tools that don't fight you every step of the way. For .iso images and VIDEO_TS folders I use Imgburn

For ordinary audio CD I prefer CDBurnerXP

Both are free and work in my 32 bit XP and Vista systems.
There are other good burners out there too. Maybe others will suggest some of them. I'm just most familiar with the 2 I mentioned.

I have downloaed IMGBURN and it fits the file to the disk like a hand fits a glove.

      Perfect.

Cheers mate and thanks for the advice (I'm such a newbie!)

Glad it worked. As for newbie, we've all been there.
