Be nice I'm new

hello all,
I'm new here and was hoping I could get some help...

I just got nero 7 and I am trying to back up some videos in an AVI format to a DVD.

I keep getting this error burn failed msg I saved the last one and I was hoping that someone can help me out.

I was hoping that I could figure it out but I haven't had any luck as I don't know what any of this means.
