Nero 9 BurningROM Crashes

Sometimes (not always) when I launch a template within the NeroBurningROM to create either a music CD or DVD compliant disc, the BurningROM crashes and gives me the standard Windows error message (IE: "This app had to close...blah blah blah").

Then it takes me back to the StartSmart screen where usually I can just reload the BurningROM, at which time it will usually works with no problems.

Anyone know if one of the updates released for Nero 9 has addressed this issue or know what alternatively might be causing it? It's incredibly annoying to load an app for it to crash for literally no reason. This usually happens at fairly random times.

There were a few people who used 8 when it and Vista came out, we don't get posts about nero 9

There first releases usually are very buggy, check at their website often

I noticed there are also reports of other issues with Nero 9 ...

BTW, I think the latest version is "Nero Burning Rom 9.2.6.0" released in December 17, 2008.

Do you have that version or yours is older one. I think they had some bug fixes on it ... not sure what though.

BTW, I noticed that Nero 9 says "Easy copy any kind of discs (including Blu-Ray) with one simple click" ... wow go figure!
