    Video Tape To Computer

    Hi.

I want to back up my video tape collection that i have bought over the years to DVD. I'm looking to do it the cheapest way possible.

I came across a EasyCap USB Video Capture Adapter. Which lets you record video tapes to computer.

I was wondering would i still be able to record video tapes that are copy protected to my computer. Then use a software to ripp to disc.

    Thanks

    Sam

    Hi Sam,

I first posted that your Gadget might not be capable of doing non-home video stuff ... but after reading a Reviewer's comment on your link gave me an idea ... "google" as per his tip and you will find the answer ...

It will work for what you want to do!

BTW ... look over Rule 19 of the Forum ... and edit your Original Posting Language.

I would try a video stabilizer with your setup. Your audio should be unaffected.

There are plenty of them around. Google for them.

      Good Luck
