AVI to DVD Encoding - Jerky Playback

    Hi Guys,

I'm having terrible trouble, I have tried a few things but am in need of a bit of help!

Basically, I have a few video files (AVI) which playback just fine, no jerkyness at all, all smooth.

I wanted to put them onto a DVD-File disk to playback on the TV, I did this.. and when I went to play the film back, I noticed about every 1 second or so that there is a very mild jerk during playback.

I thought this may be a problem with the writing process itself, but if I play back the DVD files from the hard drive, the same problem is their.

I was using Nero to do this first of all, and after figuring it may be a problem with the program I switched to one called DVD Santa, but sure enough the same problem.

The one thing i've tried doing is disabling something called FFDSHOW which DVD Santa prompted that it was trying to access, no difference.

This is driving me nuts, so any help would be appreciated, I just want smooth playback!

    I'm running Vista 32.

    Thanks a lot!

Try DVD Flick. It's free and pretty straight-forward to use.

Please provide information about the original avi and the produced DVD using Mediainfo. Looks like a framerate issue.
