Nero vision (and others)error

Not sure where to start but here goes,i use nero for avi to dvd and never had a problem before then a few weeks ago got a nasty virus,did a complete reinstall of vista,now can't burn disk images anymore,wiped again and installed windows 7,still no joy.Thing is i cant burn images with anything else either (Imgburn etc).Normally pretty good a figuring these things out but not this time.Any advise would be great..
