When my old NEC 3550 bit the dust finally I put my new Benq 1650 in with my old LG, the LG did all the burning and the Benq 1650 was just used for scans.
When the LG 4163b finally died I pulled an old Benq 1620 out of storage.
The benq 1650's eject button started acting up, to the point I had to keep an emergency tool(little thin rod) to open tray.
Durn
Then I went out and got some newer ritek mid's and the old benq was taking 15 minutes to burn even set at 8X, nice burns but too slow, so I tried the benq 1650, it was fine, 8 minute burns, I just kept a blank disk in the drive at all times so I didn't have to use the tool.
Now the punch line, after about 40 burns the eject button started working??
