Need a DVR system with unique abilities.
I need a device with these capabilities.
1. Take a DVI or VGA output from a computer (1600x1200) and have it plug into a device for recording like a DVR used at home with a cable box. So basically it needs an VGA or DVI input.
2. This device would need a DVI or VGA output of its own for playback on a different monitor and at the same resolution or very close to originally recorded at. (we use 4:3 ratio).
3. This device would be installed in a way that a remote control would not be optional for hitting play, fast-forward, rewind, etc. The ideal solution would be the ability to use a web browser (having the device on our LAN) and controlling it that way. Or possibly using a crestron controller.
4. Ability to export the video onto a Mac or PC later on so that we can edit the video and pass it around as a file.
Does anyone know of anything like this? I can't seem to find anything and
would be very appreciative if someone knew of anything and shared this
info with me.
