Blank CD not recognised
I have an Optiarc dvd+rw ND3570A integrated DVD/CD RW drive in my PC. I don't use it a great deal for burning but have done in the past without any problems.
It is reading discs ok - audio - video - data - no problem. But when I put a new blank one in and try to burn to it, all the software I have tried just says that there is no disc loaded - or 'please load empty disc and continue'. I have tried Roxio, Nero, WM Player, and they all throw a 'wobbler'. Interestingly Roxio does tell me there is a disc there when its loaded - and that it is empty etc etc - but it will not write to it.
Please can somebody help - all I want to do in burn some audio to it. I have seen hundreds of similar instances on the web and not one of them seems to suggest a solution of any worth. And yes the 'enable recording' tab is ticked.
