Looking for Home DVD/VHS Recorder Combination

I am looking for some assistance on buying a Home DVD/VHS Recorder Combination.
There does not seem to be much available for sale, can anyone help
with recommendations and sales links?
I know that Samsung has a model available at Sears and online, but
there are a lot of user comments about the unit failing, not reliable
and even when replaced or repaired, still have problems.

I have a lot of VHS and VHSC tapes that I want to get recorded
onto DVD before they are no longer viewable.

As far as I know, there's no VHS high speed dubbing around for consumers. Most VHS is captured as it's played and stored on a PC. I think most cards store as .avi files. I would search for capture cards and other related PC hardware and cabling.

Note that I'm only going by what I see online. I haven't done any capture myself. Other board members may have more info.

My primary interest is locating a home stand alone
VHS/DVD Recorder combination. What I have seen
is by Samsung, which has a VHS Player/Recorder and
a DVD Player/Recorder all in one unit. It has been
reviewed by many that say unit is not reliable and even
when repaired or replaced, still have problems.
