What's wrong? ZORAN won't play my DVD

Finally I have found one site which can feed everyone in the Whole Wide World with their PC-MOVIE problems. But then again, I can't find to seem to solve the problem with my old TOSHIBA DVD-ROM SDM1102 Firmware 1022. It's drivers are builtin therefore I need not download any upgrade but is there a possibility of me upgrading my driver? I checked Toshiba's site and this drive was like in one small corner =(

Anyway I bought this Gladiator CD for like 25 bucks Malaysian Currency and I tried playing it using my Zoran Sodt-DVD player but it won't work. The error message "DVD Drive not ready or empty" It has been like a month now. I installed their PC Friendly software but to no avail so I uninstalled it. When I browse my CDs files. There is no whatsoever file sized at least over 5 GIGs

I tried it on my neighbour's TV DVD player, it worked!
Now, i am wondering whats wrong with my PC?
I have a MPEG card in my CPU but I can't find the driver for it anywhere. It has got IBM printed on it and also -MADE IN TAIWAN-
I looked up Taiwan's IBM site and couldnt find anything bout MPEG cards or anything. PLEASE HELP!

    I am using a
    200 MMX Processor
    256 SDRAM
    2MB Vodoo 1
    SoundBlaster AWE 64

    PLEASE HELP!

It sounds like your system is not capable of reading double-layer DVDs, or DVDs greater than 4.7 Gigabytes.
