Problems playing "Matrix"-Backup

Hi there,

I did a backup of "The Matrix" with SmartRipper 2.40, but WinDVD (version 3.1.91.33, via DVD Starter 2.0) won't play it properly from harddrive. Every once in a while, the movie will hang up for one or two seconds, seemingly due to harddrive processes. Already tried different things (killed all kind of programs in the task manager except the most important; did an edit to erase intertwined vob-files etc.)

Setup:
Toshiba Notebook (Pentium III 1 GHz)
Harddrive: GENERIC IDE 20 GB
Video-Card: Trident CyberBlade Ai1 AGP

The Matrix is one of those weird DVD's that use "branching" ie the disc changes to a different layer/track auromatically. Try using different modes in SmartRipper to rip your VOB's
