No Sound after ripping on liteon 163d dvd rom drive

I have just bought a new dvd drive a liteon 163d dvd drive and when i rip a dvd with this drive i get no sound at all not matter how many time i change the rippers or the settings, anyone have an idea of what could be the prob?

Need more info ... what have you done so far?

1. The apps you are using? ... for encoding, player, etc ..
2. The settings you've choosen?
3. Codecs you have installed?

I very much doubt it's your DVD drive.
