    TV Out Control

Is there any way someone can control the TV-Out display properties on certain cards? I need a way to play DVDs or more specifically VOB files, and have it display on the TV, while keeping all the play controls on the computer monitor. Of course, the TV diplay needs to be full screen.
I am using this in a dance club, playing music videos on a big projection TV, and don't want everyone to see the computer controls. I keep hearing things about certain cards that can either mirror the display to the TV, or use this 'Twin View', but I can't see how either one of those would work for this. Any help would be appreciated... There has got to be something I am just missing.

Is there a particular video card that this TV Tool works better with? I know it looks for cards based on the GeForce chip, but is there one that everyone likes better?
What about software DVD players? Any of them offer more control towards the TV-Output then others? I am using WinDVD now, but the TV-Out controls are greyed out.

Sorry this is too late Qball but...
I have done exactly what you want on both ATI and Nvidia cards also using a variety of dvd playback software.
From win98 onwards in the display properties there is an option to use Extended desktop when two video outputs are detected (Such as a monitor and a TV).
You need to select this and make sure the TV is the primary display.
Then you can run your dvd software and drap the controls onto the monitor and the video window onto the TV.
Because of the way it handles drivers this feature is not avaialable in Win2000, I'm not sure abot XP tho.
