Most such programs are usually a "let down" (a mix of many freeware tools that are readily available) and don't allow perfect dvd to dvd copies.

tested&working, the software is pretty perfect
Insert dvd, start up dvdxcopy and it will load disc,it will auto detect if its dvd5/9 and need to be splitted
drag/drop files from left 2 right screen and choose outputfolder
hit start and there we go when completing disc1(tested HarryPotter) it ask you what to choose:
            skip burning/cancel all/burn now
i choosed "skip burn" and completed first second disc!

all was finished in ab 2 hours!
            dvdxcopy created both VIDEO_TS/AUDIO_TS!

i have used Primo to burn both disc's and the played perfect on my PC
my stand-alone dvdsystem played the copyrighted screen of dvdxcopy and no more!
            maibe my media(princo)

            7/10
drop me a pm if you need to test it

              Please clarify

              I'm unclear.

You said you made a copy of Harry Potter with DVD X Copy but it didn't work in your Stand-Alone dvd player?

              Thanks.

                Nevermind

I paid a visit to DVD X Copy's forum and from what I read that program is not worth it.
It seemed that every 3 out of 4 people who tried it had problems with the program and had problems getting a refund too!
I was going to buy it but after reading some of the comments,
                no thanks!

Apparently dvdxcopy is not a "Fake" as I had believed, but it has more than its fair share of problems. An excerpt from doom9.org:

"Some of you might have already read it in the forum and indeed, it's true. Derrow has joined 321studios to work on their KISS DVD-9 -> 2x DVD-5 software called DVDXCopy. Apparently there are quite a lot of problems to be solved yet and the product isn't working as some people would like you to believe. And so far the engagement is only temporary..."
