Drive not recognized in Power Director

Hi all: I have a problem I cant seem to find a way around -I have a qps usb dvd drive (Pioneer) - Its recognized by nero as a dvd writer but Powerdirector and Neo DVD dont find any dvd writers - It use to wirk before I installed xp SP1 - but now (and you cant uninstall the SP) it doesn't work - Anyone have any ideas - Ive tried everything short of reinstalling the OS. (Reinstalled all usb drivers - etc.) Thanks DHR

have you tried updating the aspi drivers you can get those from the pioneer website.

Tried installing any and all available aspi drivers - no difference - Thanks DHR
