This may sound bizzare but I have found a way to cure choppy / freezing DVD+R (Clonedisc) playback. Put the offending disc back into your DVD burner and playback using Power DVD or alternative at a reasonable speed (4x or 16x seems to work). When the disc is then played back on my DVD player all is well!
Do any of you experts out there have an explanation for this one? Could it be that the act of passing the same laser over the disc after the burning process is "fixing" layer problems on the disc!!??
