Probolems with ATI Radeon 9000Pro

I have a problem with my ATI Radeon 9000Pro video card. when using PowerDVD and I choose "Hardware Acceleration" it cannot display subtitles. OK I don't use this feature but it can't activate the overlay for the video and it plays choppy and it doesn't look good, can anybody help me? Could it be a Driver problem???

Install the PowerDVD Patch recently released by Cyberlink. In addition, disable Multi Monitor (Multi-display) mode from within Advanced Display setting.
