    playback issue

ever since i loaded flask and vstrip
i have had issues with my dvd's playing back correctly. it plays with a skipping and almost studering motion.
i'm aware there is an issue with playback once copyright
protection has been disabled. but has there been any patch created to force the dvd player to bypass this.

Having these two pieces of software installed on oyur system should not affect the playback of actual DVDs.

I'd suggest that, when playing DVDs, you turn off as many background-running programs as possible. Also, if possible, turn on DMA for your DVD drive...

      DMA

      DMA?????
      what is this????
I didn't have the problem with dvd's prior to loading those programs and what came with the rippers.
my windvd states spacifically that it will have issues when copyright encryption is not valid.

What would this have to do with playing ACTUAL (Commercial) DVDs?

If you look up the properties for your DVD-drive and find the place where you can check DMA, check it and restart.

some drives cannot use DMA, but most new one does, just check if it works the box should still be checked, if not the drive cannot use it.

Look in the Control Panel>>System>>Device Manager>>CD ROM (Yes "CD")
