    winaspi32.dll

    When i open DVDIT or SPRUCE UP it says failed to intialise aspi manager checked my system with aspi check it says all drivers are installed and working correctly any body got a solution

    Try upgrading your aspi layer. Try running the adaptec aspi checker as well.

      Thanks M8 i thought i had the drivers installed went adaptec web site and downloaded newest version for XP now works ok

          aspi from adaptec not working

          Just got my pioneer A05 burner but the using smartripper is taking forever!! I updated the aspi drivers to the 4.71 adaptec aspi install, but smartripper still won't detect it...I'm using win2k professional...can anyone help ME?!?!

            Try DVDDecrypter instead of SmartRipper...

              I just tried dvd decrypter and it doesn't any drives for aspi32. it only picks up the drive under "SPTI - NT/2000/XP/.NET". this rips on average of 2X just like smartripper did which takes like 20-30min just to rip. :

                Turn on DMA for your DVD drive...


                (I never realized that 20-30 minutes is "forever" ;>} )

                  20-30 minutes is a perfectly reasonable time to "rip".
