Audio becomes out of sync

I am new to this interesting topic. I have had good results so far except for my audio. My finished movie has its audio become more and more out of sync as the movie progresses. Can anyone offer advice? I am using "smartripper" and "flaskmpeg". I am converting to low motion DivX. I know informed people will find this problem simple. I am in the learning phase right now and would be thankfull for any insight.
