only full screen by using powerdvd?

    i have a creative live 5.1 soundblaster.
Only with PowerDVD it seems to work correct, I also used Micro dvd and win dvd, but with those i don't hear the center speaker, i also cant fix the settings there to 6 speakers output.
    I could use Power DVD,
There is only one problem.. PowerDVD only vieuw my divx in full screen.

Anyone knows how to fix that, or maybe what other proggram i should use instead of PowerDVD?

    tnx

The only "good" dvd viewing program i know of that you didnt mention was windows media player. You should try it in that, and if it starts up in full screen, then right click->screen size.
Have you tried re-installing win or power dvd?

The real problem was the sound, i have the creative sb live! 5.1 sound blaster, and i use the 6 channel output for the sound.

with power dvd the sound works great, only the screen is full screen.
with windows media player is the screen perfect (widescreen)
only i can't let it work for the 6 channel sound.

so i need something what also works fine for the 6 channel sound AND the wide screen.

BTW, i think it's strange that power dvd doesn't support wide screen for all vga cards.

If I understand you right, you're using PDVD to watch DivX or XviD or other movies, simply you play AVI files in PDVD. PDVD has apect ratio problem, I've heard that the earlier versions have "keep aspect ratio" feature, PDVD 4.0 XP does not. It cannot have problems with widescreen DVDs, 'cause that's why it's here for, to play them. If you've got AVIs with AC3 soundtracks, you have to use the right filter and then you can watch it in windows media player with 6 ch output.
