disc freezes,faulty media?

the last 6 discs i have burned all freeze towards the end of the film. i have just started using a fresh batch of bulkpaq gen3 media,the same media i have used previously without any problems.could this be the media is duff or could i be doing something wrong?
i am using a pioneer 104,instantcd/dvd for burning images and nero for copying from a disc.if anyone has had this problem or knows of possible solutions please let me know.

This appears to be a media problem. To verify if this is indeed the case, try burning the same files with a different brand of cd-r.

similar situation here, but mine only happened on a few cd's. what i did was copy from the cd to the hard drive and play from there, then when i am done, DELETED!! so you still have the cd original.
