    Zooming Widescreen in WinDVD

I use Intervideo WinDVD platinum to play DVDs on my computer, and I don't like to watch widescreen movies in letterbox, so I use Pan & Scan a lot. It works right with 1.85:1 movies, the zoomed image coves the entire screen. With wider movies, however, I still get smaller black bars on top and bottom. Anyone possibly know a way to zoom the image even further so all movies will cover all the screen?

Not without either distorting or cropping the image...

Yes, I meant to zoom cutting the sides of the frame. But I just don't know how I can do that using just WinDVD

The zoom function is available from within the "Tools" section of the player (After selecting the zoom function, hold the left mouse button down and drag a dotted rectangle around the entire area you wish to remain visible)...
