    Hi.
I've got a question for U...when i watch a DVD movie on my computer the picture starts to lag. Sometimes it freezes for like 5 seconds and then continues???.....what is this??

    I've got a:

    256RAM
    WIN XP
    And WInDVD

PS:I've tried to play it in power DVD as well but i've got the same problem there!!

Since you're trying to watch a dvd movie, and those are really good quality, i would think that your processor isn't fast enough to handle such quality. 450MhZ is the bare minimum to watch movies, and when theyre dvd's it might be even higher. The memory is enough for sure, so i would upgrade my CPU.

      1) Turn off all unnecessary programs running in the background

      2) Reduce your DESKTOP resolution (to 800x600 or even 640x480)

      3) Reduce your DESKTOP color depth

I have had problems like you too. I bought a faster dvd drive ( 16x ) and that helped out alot.
