playing DivX on TV

Hi everybody,
I just started watching DivX and I wonder if is any possibility to watch them on TV?
Is DVD player suitable to watch DivX?
Please help me, I'm very "green" in that field!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Assuming your video card has a TV-out port, you can use it to display your DivX playback on TV.

Hardly, if any, DVD players play DivX contents. In this case, people usually need to convert the DivX files to VCD (assuming that their DVD players support VCDs as well).
