DVD+/- R question

Hi y'all,

This may seem to be a studip question, but i really need to know it... I know that you need different dvd-rewriters to burn a dvd-r and dvd+r (exept for the sony dru500a), but do u also need different dvd-players to playback both media???
And if you need different players, is there any other dvd-rewriter that exepts + and - exept for dru500a...

Most dvd players will playback both media, but if you want to be sure if yours can, check out www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers
