Software:
DVD Decrypter 3.1.4.0 (Default settings)
PowerDVD 4.0
I am experimenting and learning about DVD ripping, encoding, Authoring etc. Current progress: Ripped to VOB files and play back movies from hard drive, I used to select the chapters to make sure the files are under 4GB and rip normally into 1 or 2 VOB files, but I recently found out about the existance of IFO files and thought maybe ripping this way would enable me to access different audio streams, subtitles and angles during playback.. so I've used the default settings of DVD Decrypter to get the files in 0.99GB chunks and including the IFO file..
My problem is that when I select the IFO file in PowerDVD nothing happens, I also checked the help in PowerDVD and it says exactly what I try to do.. open file from hard disc, select IFO file and press open. Then if I press play it simply opens up th eplaylist box and wants me to manually add VOB files..
Does anyone know what's going wrong?
