    DVD Quality

Well like a lot of people,I have a large selection DVD software
(mostly movies R1/R4) but in last year or so the quality of the
product has been and still is to my knowledge getting bad
in quality: arterfacting, freeze ups,bad widescreen enhancing,
or it just gets spit out,and I know I am not the only one with this
burning issue.I enquired to relevant software/movie reps and
destribitors which have not been helpful at all only by exchanging the offending title,I hope more people will discuss this and voice
this serious issue, you can spend all the money and time in
the technology, but if the software is not there well it is back to
    "Analog"?.
I would like to see a flicker show from "The Green Mile"

Sounds more like you've got a problem with your player, since this is NOT a universally acknowledged roblem...

If you've had your dvd drive for a while now, it sounds like you might need to clean it (or buy a new one if its too old) just like you do with a standalone dvd player, remember that the lens gets dirty after a while and cleaning is the only solution (unless you want to buy a new dvd player).
