Weird playback problem

My LG CD Combi GCC 4320B no longer plays all DVD's, e.g. it will play "Lilo and Stitch", but not the bonus material, but it wont play 101 Dalmations II at all. PowerDVD 4.0 kicks in, then everything just freezes. This is a recent problem, and was coincident with the installation of ZoneAlarm (which has since been uninstalled, as it was giving other problems), however this may be a red herring. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the hardware and the software, with no success. The DVD uses windows drivers, and there do not appear to be any firmware updates. The other DVD drive (Creative 12x) works fine. Any suggestions??

Try running a DVD/CD cleaning disk on the drive. Maxell makes one that sells for approximately $10US...
